Anne is a dual qualified practitioner. A qualified nurse having trained at the renowned St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, Anne achieved the prestigious Nightingale award, followed on by an extensive 17 year NHS career.
Anne gained rapid promotion within her NHS career and achieved her Masters of Science, equipping her with invaluable research and analytical skills enabling her to evaluate, critic and measure outcomes of performance management and effectiveness of service provision. Anne achieved her eminent NHS profile in her role as a Clinician, Manager and Expert in Tissue Viability, thus providing her clients with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Anne re-qualified as a Solicitor in 2002. A unique and challenging combination of clinical and legal experience led Anne to specialise as a Claimant Clinical Negligence Lawyer. As a skilled litigator and advocate Anne is a progressive and dynamic individual who is challenging and proactive in her approach.
Anne is driven by a desire to ensure that all patients and in particular, those who are vulnerable or elderly, receive the ‘best care’ to meet their needs. Continuing Healthcare and the associated clinical and social care packages, particularly in the client’s own home, has become a specialist area of expertise both on a professional and personal level. Anne is unphased by bureaucracy and brings her knowledge, empathy and passion to bear on behalf of clients, families and fellow professionals all over the UK.
In addition to her legal work, Anne is an eminent speaker in the arena of medico-legal training utilising her wealth of experience and aptitude for the ever changing climate clinicians are currently facing. Anne is a lively individual who stimulates and challenge individuals’ practice whilst at the same time, providing a creative and pragmatic approach to the delivery and management of patient care.
Whilst a high achiever and standard setter for all those with whom she comes in contact, Anne is an incredibly dynamic yet caring person who enjoys her family and country life in Devon together with her passions of running, golf and VW camper van enthusiast.

Rachael joined Paladin Advocates, in 2011 as Operations Manager and has worked alongside Anne Reed on a range of health and social care related cases, gaining particular expertise in Continuing Healthcare funding.
Rachael achieved a BA (Hons) degree in History and Politics from Exeter University before then winning a scholarship with Plymouth University to undertake a Graduate Diploma in Law. She subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course and is a qualified Paralegal. Her previous legal experience includes running a busy personal injury caseload, where she specialised in complex industrial hearing loss cases. She has also worked for the charity, Victim Support, assisting victims and witnesses of crime through the courts process.
Her passion has always been for providing legal advice for the benefit of the elderly and vulnerable in our society and specifically in dealing with mental capacity issues. She believes it is really important to be sympathetic to her client’s needs and offer clear and practical advice.
Rachael is such a gentle and compassionate person who brings a real warmth and charm to our clients. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys the beautiful Dartmoor countryside and coastal water sports as well as her family life in the locality.

Camilla joined Paladin in May 2014. Camilla has 5 years previous administration experience and has brought a wealth of expertise to the company.
During her first year of joining the company she embedded her previous skill set and advanced within the company gaining rapid promotion to Office Manager in April 2015. Camilla is a delightful individual who facilitates and supports staff and fee earners so as to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Camilla manages front of house and offers a warm and charming greeting to our clients. Camilla is always so diligent, polite and courteous and makes those around her feel at ease and welcome into the offices.
Camilla will be continuing to develop her career following on from her year at Plymouth University, studying Criminology & Criminal Justice Studies with Law.
Camilla is a bright and enigmatic person who is full of energy and loves life. She enjoys the beautiful coasts of Devon and Cornwall as well as playing tennis and golf locally.
